Health leaders ramp up AI investments as confidence in the technology grows
Health leaders are starting to see the benefits of AI in healthcare. Admin process improvements are at the top of the investment priority list but based on a survey taken about AI, double the respondents have an AI strategy in place compared to the same time last year, an increase from about 30% to 62%.
This survey showed an overall high level of trust in AI for both admin AND clinical tasks.
Survey respondents included AI as a popular area of investment to help accelerate therapeutic and clinical discovery research, as well as using AI for precision medicine – personalizing clinical care recommendations such as drug therapies, one of the main areas in which Healthtech leaders an AI experts want to push AI in healthcare.
