Challenges with Using AI in Drug Discovery – More Data

Description

One of the biggest barriers to being able to use AI in drug discovery is
our ability to find and access new data. Vas Narasimhan, CEO at Novartis,
was quoted in Bloomberg said that the lack of data is impacting his
enthusiasm for AI.

This is unfortunate because we Americans spent billions of tax dollars on
digitizing our health systems via the incentives for Meaningful Use of
Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

My question to our healthcare and health IT community is, so what do we do
about it? I am confident that together we can figure this out. Let’s get
